On April 2nd HBO premiered their documentary "A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism". This film documents an Icelandic mother and her non-verbal autistic son and their journey to America to find suitable treatment, ultimately ending up at the Halo clinic in Houston, TX. Focusing more on the treatments of autism, this film may be helpful for any parent looking for new avenues of care for their autistic child. Check your local listings for the next broadcast or order a copy of HBO's website. It is a very informative and moving film.

I an so glad that people are caring more for Autism and trying to help because they are more aware of it and know how they can help :)

It's great that there is a world awareness day for autism but we need to keep issues like these in our hearts and minds every day. Hopefully as the message spreads that will happen.
