These tips and especially teaching considerations should be apart of all classroom settings not just the special education classrooms. My college course intro to special education allowed us options in what type of test we wanted to take because as a person i know my own strength and weaknesses and it was very helpful.

These techniques that will help students with learning disabilities are great. While completing my early fieldwork, both of the master teachers I was with used these techniques. It helped keep control of the class and made all students feel appreciated. The students told me they knew their teachers loved them and cared about their education because they made sure that everyone could learn in their own special way. The students were motivated and some of them were beginning to excel for the first time academically. I support these techniques and when I am teaching, I will certainly implement them in my class.

These techniques are great aspects to have in our tool boxes as teachers. These are great also we can see how and why different teacher techniques work. Very helpful and very appreciated!

these are great idea for any type of teacher. any kid in general ed will get bored of the teacher just talking the whole class time, working with the same kids every small group assigned, or not giving enough instruction will definetely not let a child succeed. so it is even more impotant for teachers to make class fun and interesting for children with special needs.

These techniques should be taken into consideration for all students, special eduation or general education. We all have different learning and test taking styles or sometimes we are just having a hard day and could use a little extra help. Modifying the assignments or tests will help students feel more motivated because they are more likely to succeed. These types of modifications also help bring the importance of students’ individual needs back as a priority like it used to be.

i AM PLANNING TO BE A SPECIAL EDUCATIONS TEACHER WHEN I TAKE TWO MORE CLASSES AND GET BETTER WORKING WITH SCHILDREN SO I STRONGLY BELIEVE ANVIRONMENT IS CRITICAL STEP TO CONSIDER. tHESE IS WHAT I LEARNED THAT ACCOMODATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS ARE THE KEY POINTS TO BEGIN WITH. THE ABOVE TECHNIQUES ARE NOTE WORTHY AND I WOULD CONSIDER EVEN AN ANY SETTINGS. CHILDERN COME WITH THEIR CAPABILITIES AND COMPETENCES IN DIFFERENT RANGE SO DOING AND HEARING THE ABOVE DISCUSSED THING AGAIN AND AGAIN IT BECOMES MORE HELPFUL FOR THEM. sO FUTURE TEACHER I WILL KEEP THE SECRET AABOVE ALL FOR MY AGENDA. eNVIRONEMT IS THE THIR TEACHER.

All of these techniques are good. When children take tests they get nervous and don’t do well. Having them take an open book, open note, and the extra time. These are all good so the students could feel comfortable and could do well during their tests. Also, during the lectures the repeating technique is good because students sometimes don’t understand it first and when they hear is again they could hear it clearly and understand. These are really good techniques.

AS A FUTURE TEACHER I THINK THAT THE ENVIRONMENT THAT THESE STUDENTS ARE BEING PLACED IS VERY IMPORTANT TO THERE LEARNING ABLILITIES AND THEIR PERSONAL GOALS AS WELL AS THE GOAL OF A TEACHER. A TEACHER SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE SOME APPROPRIATE ACCOMODATION IN AREAS THAT A STUDENT NEEDS. AND IN ORDER TO DO SUCH ACCOMODATION A TEACHER NEEDS TO BE EDUCATED IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS IN ORDER TO SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMMODATE SOMETHING TO A CHILD.

These techniques are all very helpful for children. Some times it is difficlt and stressful for children to take tests. With open book or open notes they feel more comfortable and secure about taking a test.

As a teacher of young children I have found that the environment is a major element of intervention when students with special needs are part of the class. When I have children with ADD/ADHD I begin by allowing as much physical space as possible in each of the learning centers while at the same time reserving some space for quiet times for individual children. I also try to reduce the distractions by moving or rearranging the teaching materials as well as changing seating, but most of all I try to identify the individual needs and behaviors of the children and provide individualized teaching.

We were just given a test in our intro to special education class. Each person could choose between multiple choice, matching and essay questions. There were five different options to this test. We also could have a 4 x 6 index card with notes. There was no specific time frame for the test. This was just one of the ways that testing can be adapted for any student. Our teacher showed how as a special ed teacher assessments can easily be adapted to each individual’s needs. What a great lesson to be learned from taking a test!

All of the above suggestions are ones that any teacher, special or general ed, should use. When a teacher considers that all kids have different learning styles, it will automatically lead to varied strategies in order to teach any given concept.

All these suggestions are great for special needs learners and even for other learners as well. it make this more understandable for people with disablities to have a wide varity of techniques fr learning.
