I am extremely glad to read president Obama’s interest and fully supporting the special education and above all he understands what it means to be a special child. For a special child’s family to read this would be a new light and to read not to worry about and be free of barriers. I have nobody having autism but still hearing the video gave me more hope. Again nobody will have to sacrifice due to funding or budget cuts. Above all he is a great believer of early intervention which is good news for we teachers who are in these field. Thank you so much president Obama.

Hopefully Obama is not saying things just to say them but that he would actually do as he says. other than that i am glad that he is supporting special education and he understands the rights and the needs of these childre. and with more intervention being done and more research being done, these children will have a better outcome a better lifestyle. obama has given us hope.

Having a brother with autism, hearing this video gives me more hope.
im glad to kno obama supports full funding of (I.D.E.A) and believes that screening at an early age is important. The ealier screening is made the better outcome a child will have. i Hope with his efforts there is more research done and as he said more intervention.

I think he tried to make us understand that teachers, researchers, educators are not along. I also think with his support in special education, will give us enough courage to do our best for the children.

I am glad to hear that the president supports early intervention. Infant screening for potential impairments are important as well as re-screening all two year olds. Infants and toddlers will benefit from early intervention.

Obama fully supports special education and he wants the people free of unnecessary barriers. Our nation has a responsibility to our students with disabilities. I am so happy to hear that our president cares about children with special needs!
