Special Education in the classroom

February 9th, 2008

Do you think this can be a useful site for educators to collaborate and assist those who are new to the profession? A place to ask questions and give answers. A place to help teacher’s advocate for their classrooms. Laws are changing daily, and teachers need to be aware of the best practices. Please share your experiences in confidence.

I think that this might be a great place for teachers to go to get information and to collaborate with others. Thanks so much!
Can teachers post their own comments and questions or do we respond to the topics already given? If it’s not already possible I think that it would be great to add that feature.

    Hi Michelle,

Great Question! When you post a comment or ask a question it will go through an approval filter and
will then be placed in the proper category. If It is a question where there is no category one will be started.
The filter removes spam or comments that may be inappropriate. Because this is designed to help
professionals we would like to give readers the most professional help possible. We request that you
respect the privacy of your students, parents and employers. Feel free to keep venting to a minimum.
We are here to give you all the encouragement and support we can.

I find this web site to be not only a great place for teachers to collaborate but also a great web site for any other person that has an intrest in special education or a parent that needs some answers to their questions. i would recommend this web site to my parent i my school if they had any questions i couldn’t answer for them.

I LIKE THIS WEBSITE A LOT. WHEN I HAVE NOTHING TO DO, MOST OF THE TIME I AM READY COMMENTS. THEY ARE VERY INTERESTING. I THINK THAT IT IS A COMFORTABLE WEBSITE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS WITHOUT JUDGEMENT AND TO GET INPUT FROM EDUCATORS AS WELL AS PEOPLE GOING THROUGH A SIMILIAR SITUATION.
